Buckingham Palace with the Queen Victoria memorial

  • I always think of Buckingham Palace as being at the heart of London, with it's close proximity to Westminster and Whitehall with its decision makers it feels like everything radiates from here. The Palace opened in 1705 and is the home of the monarch currently Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. The fountain that you see in the picture is part of the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of the palace unvieled in 1911 designed and sculpted by Sir Thomas Brock.
