I know, I know it's a title of a 1992 movie but I thought it apt. I spent an evening by the Thames just before lockdown, I followed the river as it flowed past the Victorian Angel pub in Rotherhithe along to Tower Bridge. It's not a great distance but it is a fascinating walk especially at night as the streets which follow the river are steeped in history. I wanted to photograph Tower Bridge from a distance, not the usual close up, with the atmosphere of Rotherhithe in the photograph as well as the lights of The City of London beyond the bridge...
